Reel Therapy Program

The REEL Therapy Program is a specialized initiative within H3 Adventures designed to provide therapeutic outdoor experiences through the art of fishing. By combining the calming effects of nature with the focus and skill required for fishing, this program promotes mental well-being, stress relief, and personal growth. Fishing has long been recognized as a form of meditation in motion, offering participants a chance to slow down, reflect, and connect with both the environment and themselves. Whether it’s the peaceful stillness of freshwater lakes or the rhythmic waves of the ocean, the REEL Therapy Program creates an ideal setting for relaxation, mindfulness, and rejuvenation. Program Activities 1. Freshwater Fishing Participants will explore serene lakes, rivers, and streams, learning the techniques and skills required for freshwater fishing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, this activity offers a calming escape, fostering mindfulness and providing an opportunity to reset in a tranquil environment. 2. Saltwater Fishing For those who crave adventure, saltwater fishing offers a more dynamic and exciting experience. Participants will venture into coastal waters to learn the art of saltwater angling, with the chance to catch a variety of species. This activity combines the thrill of the open water with the therapeutic benefits of being immersed in nature. Benefits of REEL Therapy • Stress Relief: Fishing provides a sense of peace and focus, allowing participants to disconnect from everyday stressors and concentrate on the present moment. The repetitive and rhythmic nature of casting and reeling helps reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. • Mindfulness and Patience: Fishing requires patience, focus, and an ability to live in the moment. Through this activity, participants will practice mindfulness techniques that can be applied to daily life, helping them stay calm and centered. • Connection to Nature: Being out on the water offers a unique way to experience nature. Participants will deepen their appreciation for the environment, wildlife, and natural rhythms that surround them. • Community and Camaraderie: Fishing in groups allows participants to build strong connections with others. Sharing stories, learning new techniques, and celebrating successes together fosters a sense of belonging and teamwork. Program Goals 1. Promote mental well-being by offering relaxing and mindful fishing experiences. 2. Encourage a connection with nature through freshwater and saltwater fishing adventures. 3. Build patience and focus by teaching fishing techniques that require discipline and mindfulness. 4. Foster camaraderie and teamwork through group-based activities on the water. Who Can Participate? The REEL Therapy Program is open to individuals of all skill levels who are seeking to unwind, connect with nature, and gain a sense of inner peace through fishing. Whether you are new to fishing or an experienced angler, this program is designed to offer both therapeutic benefits and outdoor adventure.

Jethro Program Mission Statement

The Jethro Program provides a sanctuary for pastors to find fellowship, support, and renewal among their peers. Inspired by the wisdom of Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, this program connects spiritual leaders who share the weight of their community’s burdens. Through outdoor adventure camps and events, pastors come together to be nourished in body and spirit, building relationships and support systems that foster resilience, accountability, and brotherhood. No teaching or study is required—only fellowship and the opportunity to share the load with other leaders who understand their unique challenges.

F.E.R.A.L. Women Mission Statement

The mission of the F.E.R.A.L. Women program is to empower women through resilience, adventure, and leadership by providing unique outdoor experiences. We foster meaningful connections between women—whether peers, mothers, or female warriors like veterans and first responders—through activities such as hunting, camping, kayaking, and biking. Our goal is to create a supportive community where women build confidence, strengthen bonds, and grow together in the great outdoors.

What the Heroes have to say

My husband and friends went out today we had a great time. The guys that took us out were great loved the conversation. If you want a fun day out on the water the two guys (Ashley and Tom) know where to take you. It was helpful that if you don’t even know how to fish they are there to help. Then when you get back from fishing Tammy make great food. We had catfish, baked beans, Green beans, sweet potatoes and grits. If you leave hunger that is you. I appreciate all they for first responders and Vets. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to release stress and just disconnect from the world for a while. Also the best part is you keep everything you catch. We caught shell cracker, catfish and a blue crab. Was very surprised by Blue Crab.
